Michael Barrist is considered a thought leader in the accounts receivable and customer relationship management industry. In 1986, he purchased his parents’ small, local collection agency and formed NCO Group. Over the next 25 years, his company grew from two part-time employees into the world’s largest provider of accounts receivable management solutions and a top 10 provider of customer relationship management services, with revenues of over $1.5 billion and a workforce of over 30,000 employees operating in 10 countries.
Since leaving NCO in early 2011, Mr. Barrist has focused his efforts on planning his next chapter. Radius Global Solutions represents Mr. Barrist’s reentry into the accounts receivable and customer relationship management space.
Bill Fischer has over 20 years of experience in accounts receivable outsourcing and customer care. As a Senior Vice President at NCO Group, Mr. Fischer helped to construct a global financial infrastructure, which included the deployment of SAP and the financial integration of 38 acquisitions. Mr. Fischer is a certified Public Accountant and most recently operated a private accounting and business-consulting firm. Mr. Fischer is now bringing his vast financial and leadership experience to bear at Radius Global Solutions.
Paul Weitzel has over 30 years of national and international corporate development experience. He helped grow NCO Group into a worldwide leader in BPO services, spanning 10 countries and generating revenues of over $1.5 billion. He also identified, structured, negotiated and closed the acquisition of more than 30 companies. As the founder and chairman of MedSource, Inc., Mr. Weitzel acquired significant experience in revenue cycle management services.
Since Leaving NCO, Mr. Weitzel founded and operated Broad Axe Advisors, LLC, a consulting and advisory firm that optimizes client competitiveness and effectiveness. Mr. Weitzel has also spent considerable time over the last year focused on the formation of a new Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management Program (RCM). Mr. Weitzel’s 30 years experience in the field brings a superior level of innovative service solutions to the Radius Global Solutions Leadership team.
Steve Elliott is a proven leader with over 25 years of experience in business and technology outsourcing. Prior to joining Radius, Mr. Elliott was Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of NCO Group. He lead a team of over 500 IT professionals, both internal and external, in the support and delivery of technology services with responsibilities for Information Technology strategic planning, service delivery management, and technology procurement.
He had additional responsibilities for over 300 back office administrative personnel, including client billing operations, lockbox processing, legal compliance, facilities, and real estate. Most recently Mr. Elliott was a principal at JWS Partners, LLC, providing senior-level business and technology advisory services in a number of industry verticals.
Mr. Elliott has the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously to successful outcomes with significant experience in the financial services industries. Mr. Elliot brings strong problem resolution, change management, and project prioritization to the Radius Global Solutions Leadership team.
Greg Stevens is a seasoned compliance and collections executive with over 30 years of ARM industry and contact center operations experience. In his career, Greg has successfully led a number of federal and state regulatory audits, as well as numerous client appraisals. Greg is skilled in developing and managing compliance management and call monitoring systems. His diverse and long standing career in the ARM industry has included several C-level and senior leadership roles with premiere collections organizations. Prior to the launch of his career as a contact center executive, which has lasted over 20 years, Greg owned collections firm for 11 years.
Steve Leckerman is a proven leader and industry veteran bringing over 30 years of experience to the Radius Global Solutions brand. Prior to joining Radius, Mr. Leckerman was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of NCO Group where he played an integral role in growing NCO into the world’s largest provider of accounts receivable management. As a member of the executive team, he spearheaded worldwide operational integration and strategy for 38 acquisitions in ten countries.
He created a global service delivery model that encompassed end-to-end, multi-channel customer-facing services, and leveraged technology to modernize the collection process. Mr. Leckerman created company-wide standard operating procedures and performance monitoring methods that have become the industry’s benchmarks. His industry training program was recognized by Training Magazine in 2009 as one of the best in the world.
